EAM is proud to present EDUCATE, an educational program for employers, health purchasers, HR professionals, and benefits professionals looking to strengthen data-driven decision making. The 2026 EDUCATE program is a four-part series: How to get your data and what to do with it. The classes will guide you through how to obtain your benefit claims data, understanding the data and latest trends, analyzing the data, and how to use the data to improve your organization’s benefits design and lower health benefit costs.
The live programs allow for audience interaction. Fear not! If you miss the live program, you will be able to view the recording that will be posted 1-2 business days after. Once you register, you will be given a Zoom link and directions on how to view the webinars at any time once they are recorded.

February 13: Part One, How to obtain your health claims data, is with Chris Deacon, nationally recognized healthcare reformer and former head of one of the largest public health plans in the country. Chris will inform participants why they should deep dive into their health benefit claims and how to go about getting the data you need. All registrants will receive a copy of her new book: The Great American Health Care Heist.

May 15: Part Two provides a practical introduction to healthcare claims data and how it shapes benefit strategy and cost management. Participants will learn key data components, common terminology, and analytical approaches to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for improved health outcomes and financial performance.

July 24: Part Three equips participants with foundational skills to interpret and evaluate health claims data. Attendees will learn how to identify cost drivers and utilization patterns that support smarter benefit design and better healthcare outcomes. Helping benefit professionals to enhance their data analysis capabilities in the healthcare space.
